April 25, 2009 update: UGKA competes in the American Bushido-Kai Karate Association Championships in Sand Springs, OK!
Mr. Soliday’s UGKA was given a special invitation to compete in the American Bushido-Kai Karate Association (ABKA) Championships this weekend, held in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. The ABKA Championships are comprised almost entirely of the ABKA schools from across Oklahoma and Texas, and when all competitors assembled and were seated at the opening of the tournament, it certainly appeared to be the largest competition seen in the state!
The UGKA schools brought competitors from three of its schools – the Mr. Soliday’s Sapulpa Institute of Karate; Mr. Scott Collins’ Sand Springs Institute of Karate, and Katie Carr’s Mannford Institute of Karate.
